Battlefield

So I've been playing Battlefield 3 and it's been great.  I had the chance to have on my podcast Ian Tornay, the community manager for Battlefield 3.  It was great and he answered a lot of questions I had and the community did as well.

I ended up streaming most of today some Battlefield and MW2, I swear the lobbies have been getting more messed up daily.  With the prestige tokens up for grabs, a lot more people are on.  Anyway, good night.

News?

Alright everyone, I finlly feel I can tell you what I was going to say to you what news will become. Think of The Phillip Defranco Show, but with someone younger and not with PKD, which means completly nothing but are facts. But, I figure how I want to film but I'm using a crappy logitech quickcam for it so there might be bad quality and to save time I might just use windows movie maker. Talk to you all soon

Apple Updates and New Year

Alright, thanks to the fine people of MacRumors.com; We see that the pieces are slowly coming together to maybe confirm Apple mystical iTablet, while we see the same with the possibility of a camera on the iPod Touch 4G. We dive into the rumors and fact surrounding Apple products.

Apple iTablet
Alright, so far it seems that the iTablet will be named the Apple iSlate when MacRumors.com found the website registered to a certain company at 1 Infinite Loop in Cupertino. There also is speculation that Apple will hold a conference in the next few months maybe January to announce the Tablet. Also, some people are thinking the screen will be 7” inches which would be great for resolution and even some think this device could pass as an eReader like the Amazon Kindle and Barnes and Noble’s Nook. No one really knows how this could be incorporated and so this is something we will need to wait and see, who knows… CES is coming up in a week so will doubtfully see more hopefully.

Apple iPod 4G
We all have been quite familiar with Apple’s knockoff for an iPhone. It seems more and more like the real thing when they add one by one like first it was the speaker, followed by the microphone through the headphone jack. But now, the camera seems only suitable to be next, it was known that Apple did not release the camera with the 3G only because it did not pass quality testing. Hopefully the kinks are fixed because if so I am returning this iPod Touch 3G I got for Christmas. It is rumored that’s what Apple may also announce when at the next conference, but we will have to wait and see and pray.

From iPod to iPhone?
I was searching the internet when I came across something interesting on YouTube. I’ve heard of people making their iPod Touches think they were iPhones but never have seen it. So, someone on YouTube did it just by renaming a file in Core Services through SSH and sure enough my iPod turned into an iPhone with giving me options like Airplane mode and giving me a camera and turning my music and video section into one with the iPod feature. Along with contacts setting ringtones and having options of texting them. Below I will add screenshots and maybe a video or something is VNC wants to work this time.

So, it’s been a great year and we hope to be doing this for many more. So from everyone at Biofare Studios we wish you and your family a Happy New Year. We will see you all in 2010 with some resolutions that will make and not fulfill.

Game Review: Tony Hawks Ride

So, I’m over at my friend’s house and he bought Tony Hawk Ride for the Xbox. Little did I know, I killed my childhood… and my back trying to play this game. I was skeptical at first when playing Ride because Tony Hawk has had a known history of sucking. I tried it and then it took my soul. The End

Machinima and Avatar

Well, machinima is near the uploading button but I have to say my time will be consumed with watching Avatar in IMAX 3D thanks to some generous friends and the fact that the movie just kicks butt. I saw it in a normal theater and it was epic their but I need to see it in IMAX 3D to make sure there is a god. So, until then. Just hold out!

Movie Review: Avatar in 3D

Avatar the Director James Cameron was a spectacular movie, I would definitely consider going again. The detail of this movie was very noticeable, from the CGI to the plant life you can see James Cameron worked very hard on this movie. Now the difference seeing it in IMAX 3D or digital is a very big difference. With IMAX, you have a way bigger screen and better sound quality and with digital it's just a generic viewing experience. The story line to James Cameron's Avatar was very good, it was about a paraplegic his conscience enters another creature they call avatars to find out more information about another species on a planet called Pandora. The system for 3D that they used was an entirely new one made by Cameron and partners and had help with special effects done by the New Zealand Company WETA. Overall the running time of this movie with his overall 2:30 was well worth it as it plays at and wonderful story line. The great part about this movie was that the 3D wasn't in your face about it like other movies we've seen. Overall after maybe 30 minutes into the movie you forget your even wearing those glasses. The great part is that there's already news of a sequel. James Cameron's Avatar is now in theaters and also in IMAX 3D. It's definitely and go out and see… twice.

Google Throws a Fast-Ball!

Indeed we all know Google as our searching, phone, waving, overlords and now they have mixed things up with a new layout making it easier for us all to "Google". Now if your brain dead or just came out a bomb shelter from the 80's. Google was originally a company based by two guys in college. The original name of this project was "BackRub". Soon Google became huge because of indexing or some crap. Now, Google is used by millions and has software for phones called Droid, owns YouTube, has a superior FREE e-mail service(Gmail), and other wonderful things. There shall me more to come updating on this news I guess
